Microgaming Prepares Two New Slots for December

Isle of Man based developer Microgaming has just launched its Basketball Star slot machine (and a handful of new mobile slots as well), but it doesn’t sit on its metaphorical hands. Just days after launching its fresh content it has already announced the next batch of fresh games: festive slot machine Happy Holidays and the Asian-themed title Serenity.

“For karma, tranquillity and good fortune, Serenity could be the game to catch your players’ eye. Elegantly designed this 5 reel video slot gives players the choice to play between 1 and 15 selectable lines and the possibility of wins of up to 120,000! If players land 3 or more lantern symbols on an active pay line, they will be rewarded with an entry to the Lantern Bonus where they can choose up to 5 superbly decorated lanterns each with each choice awarding a random Bonus prize,” the game’s description reads on YouTube. Serenity has a simplified Chinese teaser as well, so it’s clear it’s meant for Asian audiences. Its graphics are beautiful, and the wins it promises are quite convincing. Microgaming has released quite a few Asian themed slots this year – titles like Lucky Firecracker, Lucky Zodiac or Lucky Twins. Serenity will be the worthy title to top the list when it’s released this December.

Happy Holidays will be a video slot machine with a definitely festive theme, filled with snowed-in woods and Christmas tunes. The game will have five reels, three rows and 243 ways to win, and reels filled with everything Christmas – Santa Claus, socks filled with goodies, turkey dinners and Christmas trees, surrounded by lots and lots of snow. But Happy Holidays will offer way more than just a Holiday spirit. The Frosty feature will freeze almost all the symbols on the screen, with the remaining ones revealing bonus payouts. The game’s Free Spins feature will increase the number of win lines to 1024, and the number of rows to four, maximizing the game’s payout potential.
